An AlloTalk alternative for teen chat

Looking for an AlloTalk alternative where you can talk with other teens? 808 Teens brings public chat, private conversations and community activities together in your browser.

Enter Teen Chat

808 Teens is an independent community. It is not affiliated with AlloTalk, and an AlloTalk account cannot be used to sign in here.

What to expect when you switch

Start in the public room, read the conversation and introduce yourself with a nickname and an interest. Talk about music, games, films, art or everyday life. English is used in chat so members and staff can follow the discussion.

Open a member’s profile to find the available friend, ignore and private-message tools. Respect people who do not reply. You can join from a phone, tablet or desktop without installing an app.

More than a message feed

When enabled, room quizzes give everyone a shared question to answer. Drawing and talent contests offer another way to join in; check the current topic, entry requirements and voting stage. Song Share accepts Spotify track submissions under the allowance and approval rules shown in its form.

Before you join

808 Teens is for ages 13-20. Members under 18 need permission from a parent or guardian. Keep your school, exact location, phone number and passwords private. Use ignore and report tools when someone makes you uncomfortable, and ask staff for help. Moderation cannot remove every risk.

Read the chat rules and safety guide. For account or connection problems, contact the 808 Teens team.
