• Do not say anything you wouldn't want the public to know - this includes your full name, your address, phone number of other personal information.
• Do not trust everything you hear in the chat rooms. The age old saying goes "if it's too good to be true, then it probably is."
• Don't spend long hours infront of a screen. Protect your eyesight by giving them rest every now and then to prevent eye strain.
• Don't believe everything that you hear. If it sounds outrageous, it probably is.
• Any wrongdoing should be reported to a moderator.
• Do not get together with someone you meet in a chat room. If you must, meet in a public place and bring along some friends.
• Accept no files or downloads from any users. It may be a virus or a computer exploit..
• Stretch every now and then and try to avoid sitting in the same position for long periods.
• Webcams should not be used for anything other than clean webcam chat. Often, you are being videotaped without even realizing it. This information can later be used against you in a negative way, such as through blackmail.
• Ignore anyone who bullies or bothers you in any way. You can also report such activity to a mod with screenshot evidence..
• For the sake of gaining your trust, pedophiles frequently pose as someone they are not. Keep a close eye on things.
• If you feel intimidated or endangered by another user, you should take screenshots and report them to your local law enforcement authorities.
